Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of northlinestudiomx.com and the hiring of the services offered under the NORTHLINE Digital Studio brand, operated by JPHN LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America (filing ID 2026-001869265), with its address at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("NORTHLINE").
By using the site, requesting a quote or paying for a project, you accept these terms.
1. Services
NORTHLINE designs and develops websites, online stores (Shopify) and custom software, and offers related services such as SEO and maintenance. The exact scope of each project is the one detailed in its quote.
2. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in the currency of the selected market: Mexican pesos (MXN) for Mexico and US dollars (USD) for the United States. Each market has its own price list; prices are not currency conversions.
Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include taxes that may apply to the client, bank or currency-conversion fees charged by the client's bank, or third-party costs described in section 9.
3. Quote builder and quotes
The quote builder produces an automated estimate based on the options you select. Saved quotes are valid until the date shown on them; once a quote is saved, its price and conditions do not change even if published prices change later.
Custom software estimates and projects marked as "requires review" are preliminary ranges, not final prices. The final price is confirmed in writing after reviewing the requirements.
4. Hiring and payments
A project is hired when you accept each project term on the confirmation page and pay the deposit. The conditions you accept at that moment are saved with your quote and prevail over any general information on this site.
- Projects are paid in two parts: a deposit to start (usually 50%) and the remaining balance before launch, as shown in the quote.
- Payments are processed by Stripe in the currency of the quote. NORTHLINE never charges automatically: the balance is requested and you authorize each payment.
- Online payments are registered once Stripe confirms them.
5. Cancellations and refunds
The deposit is non-refundable once work on the project has begun.
If NORTHLINE cancels a project for reasons attributable to NORTHLINE, it will refund the amounts corresponding to work not performed.
Refunds, when applicable, are issued to the original payment method. Processing times depend on Stripe and the client's bank.
6. Timelines and delivery
Delivery timelines are counted in business days (or in hours for Express delivery) from the project's official start.
The delivery timeline starts only once NORTHLINE has received the deposit and all the information, content, access and materials needed to begin. Express delivery is subject to availability. Delays in providing materials or approvals extend the timeline accordingly.
7. Revisions and changes
Projects include two rounds of revisions to the agreed design and content. Additional revisions, changes in direction or any section, feature or change not included in the quote are evaluated separately and may require an additional payment.
8. Client responsibilities
- Provide on time the information, copy, images, logo, access and materials requested in the project brief.
- Ensure you hold the rights to the materials you provide (images, copy, logos, trademarks) and that they do not infringe third-party rights.
- Keep your private quote and portal links confidential.
- Designate a person responsible for feedback and approvals.
9. Third-party costs
Domains, hosting plans, Shopify subscriptions, third-party apps, paid fonts or stock images, payment-processor fees and other external services are paid directly by the client and are not included in NORTHLINE's development price unless the quote says otherwise. Those services are governed by their own terms.
10. Intellectual property
Once the project has been paid in full, the client obtains the rights to use the delivered site and the materials created specifically for them. NORTHLINE retains ownership of its tools, reusable components, code libraries and working methods, which the client may use as part of the delivered project.
NORTHLINE may show the project in its portfolio unless the client expressly requests otherwise in writing.
11. Maintenance
The maintenance plan is optional. It is not a condition for hiring NORTHLINE or for receiving the finished project, and it can be canceled as set out in its corresponding quote.
12. Limitation of liability
NORTHLINE works to professional design, development and optimization standards, but does not guarantee results that depend on third parties or factors outside its control, such as search rankings, traffic, sales or the behavior of external platforms.
To the extent permitted by law, NORTHLINE's total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amounts actually paid by the client for that project.
13. Use of the site
You agree not to use the site for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to access restricted areas or other people's data, and not to interfere with its operation. Site content, the NORTHLINE brand and its design belong to their owners and may not be reproduced without authorization.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming, without prejudice to any non-waivable rights that the consumer protection laws of the client's country of residence grant them.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The version published on this page applies to the use of the site; each project is governed by the conditions accepted with its quote.
